The VLC Series does what conventional loop systems (U-loops, S-loops, etc.) by enabling any type of high speed feeds to perform at their maximum. Performance variables crucial to feeding at high speeds have been solved. The length of material between the feed and the loop control rolls, the height at which the material is introduced into the loop, and the angle at which the material is discharged from the loop control are freely adjustable. In addition, feed pitch is adjustable between 0 and 999.99 mm, while material thickness and roll parallelism are adjusted automatically when material held by the rolls. Grip force is adjusted by the turn of a dial. The electric control provides all the functions for automatic loop control and manual jogging. The Variax Loop Control allows feeds to perform at their maximum potential, and the jogging feature reduces setup time. Installation requires only the addition of a resolver on the press crankshaft.
