Overview

Linear handlers used separate cams mounted on the same shaft for both lift & extend motions to synchronize strokes. Multiple narrow housings can be mounted in close proximity. Each is grease lubricated for mounting in any position. All require one input shaft revolution to complete a full cycle (pick, place & back home). Blending of the X & Y strokes reduce vibration to enable smooth accurate placement and faster cycle times. Idle times for gripper actuation are included into the stroke cycles to keep the drive motor running continuously.

All units are designed to be driven with a gearmotor or belt driven with a motor or line shaft. Precision slides with multiple bearing blocks accommodate large lifting loads or twisting force moments. All timing and sequence motions are custom configured for synchronous or cycle on demand applications at no extra cost.

	Pick & Place (GY Series) The GY series features tall but narrow cast iron housing with upright, inverted or side mounting configurations. Commonly used for pick & place applications. For simple pickup and drop on to a conveyor, an "L" shaped motion and a "Z" motion is used for pallet pickup. Five housing sizes offer speeds up to 120 cycles per minute and strokes up to 100x300 mm (3.93" x 11.81").
	Pick & Place Gear Drive (GW Series) Our GW series are designed with rounded cast iron housings for standalone mounting or in a circular configuration. Twelve units can be driven with a 335 mm (13.18") bull gear. As a standalone unit, a top or bottom mounted gearmotor can supply cycle on demand or continuous duty cycles. Each pick and place handler features maximum stroke lengths of 50x60 mm (1.96" x 2.36"). Both 6GW & 6GX units are mounted above an indexing dial to perform synchronous part assembly on our BH series assembly machine.
	Press & Crimp Gear Drive (GX Series) Each GX series offers a single stroke up to 40 mm (1.57") with crimping or pressing capacity up to 250 kg (551 lb.) of force in both lift or press directions. Designed with rounded cast iron housings for mounting in a circular configuration, up to twelve units can be driven with a 335 mm (13.18") bull gear. As a standalone unit, a top or bottom mounted gearmotor can supply cycle on demand or continuous duty cycles. Both 6GW & 6GX units are mounted above an indexing dial to perform synchronous part assembly on our BH series assembly machine.
