This cam-actuated tool post is a specially designed
roller gear cam mechanism incorporating extra-strong cam followers
and a globoidal cam made of extra-strong special steel. The
result is an extremely high-torque roller gear cam mechanism
capable of faster indexing speeds and stable stopping power
without the use of gear couplings. This power can be unleashed
by simply driving the input shaft with a motor, making the
SANDEX EX series ideal for people and earth-friendly NC lathes.
