The CPC series is a cam-actuated, 180 degree indexing pallet changer, designed with a roller gear cam mechanism to incorporate cam followers matched to a globoidal cam. Large diameter cam followers make less revolutions and increase surface contact to inherently extend life hours and torque capacity. Heavy cast iron housings and dual output turret bearings accurately support holding forces for machining the pallets mounted directly to the pallet changer arms or supply a lift axis to drop the pallets on location pins.

Rotation and lift is performed with a standard motor, which requires a smaller footprint and no expensive hydraulic drive system. Exchange time is 10 seconds for two 1200-kg (2645-lb) pallets located on a 555-mm (21.8") radius using a 1.5-kW (2-hp) motor. Pallets can be up to 630-mm (24.8") in size with custom sizes available. Dual CPC units with four pallets can be synchronized for maximum productivity.
