SANKYO's RA series delivers versatile indexing options using geared servo drives. Our compact design package features smooth mounting surfaces. The servo motor and reducer drive package is within the height of the housing, thus eliminating mounting interference. The hollow bore enables plumbing, bearings or peripheral drive mechanisms to be routed through the center of the indexing flange.

An output pilot flange will ensure concentric and rigid mounts for rotating dials or fixtures. An internal cam drives precision cam followers that supply smooth indexing motions with minimal torque requirements and backlash. This cam also incorporates a drive reduction, which in conjunction with the drive reducer, transfers large loads.

Additional dial rigidity is available with an optional motor brake mounted to the servo motor. Output flange home position sensors are optional for maintaining indexing accuracy.
