The ECO series clean model design was developed for use in production environments that must be sanitary and easy to keep clean. Typical applications include advanced electronic components which require clean room conditions; food packaging where cleanliness is an absolute requirement; and pharmaceuticals processing.

The ECO series clean model design features a flat and smooth shaped housing that prevents rust and lends itself to clean room conditions. Both input and output shafts are rust-proofed and sealed with a protective panel to keep dust and water droplets from getting in or out of the unit. Grease lubrication allows maintenance-free operation and all seals are made from dust and corrosion resistant materials.

The C2 version is designed for clean room applications and exceeds class-10,000 clean room requirements. Clean room and rustproof torque limiters for overload protection are also available providing a safe and sound solution for driving automated equipment under sanitary, dust and corrosion-resistant conditions.
