In
1984, Sankyo answered the demands for a miniature cam index
drive. The Miniature series (D/E) became the world's smallest
indexing drive to use a roller gear cam mechanism. The small
diameter cam follower used in this model is an original Sankyo
design. The housing construction is also reduced in weight
and size. Not everything has been miniaturized. The miniature
type kept pace with the demands for performance and speed
by using another Sankyo design innovation, the SMS-3 cam curve
(Sankyo Modified Sine). This model is ideal for a variety
of peripheral equipment such as indexing lightweight tables
and part handling.

7MI
|
| |
|
|
The
7MI miniature multiple-indexing model was developed to meet
the demands for a smaller, more accurate and more economical
indexer drive for rotary automated machinery.
The MI series has the qualities of the miniature D/E series
such as the SMS-3 cam curve, specially designed small diameter
cam follower, and light weight compact housing construction.
The added feature of the MI series is the large flange surface
in respect to the housing size. This flange surface enables
multiple indexing which is ideal for automated assembly machines,
filling machines and other applications with multiple tasks.
The MI series is sure to enhance the performance of your machine.
