Sankyo's
base machine is driven by Sankyo's center-column-type indexing
drive. It is the apex of precision and high speed rotary base
machines.
It is available in three types. Each model features a solid-piece
frame, base table and index table. A continuous shaft is also
mounted to the output shaft and synchronized with the index
table.
The continuous shaft on model BH series can be used to drive
various peripheral equipment. On model PM14, a cam is attached
directly to the continuous shaft and translated into a pick
and place motion.
Each model comes complete with motor, standard schematic circuit
and torque overload devices.
This is particularly suitable for driving automated assembly
equipment, processing machines, and other applications that
require precision performance.
Examples include machines for precision parts, electronic
components and small parts.
